With three score years and ten behind me by a couple of years or so, it's time to go over the life and experiences that have flowed like an ever–rolling stream

away and into my memories. It, like the lives of so many others, has followed no fixed plan. Roads that I wished to take have suddenly been blocked and other routes, going in totally unexpected directions, have presented themselves. Sometimes I have managed to follow a route of my own choosing but often one which was totally wrong.
I have, however, always been surrounded by love, which occasionaly I have rejected in order to go my own way. On the whole my life continues to be a good life filled with love and happiness (although an inappropriate sense of humour lands me in trouble) and I have no real reason for complaint. If I have any regret it is an underlying lack of self condfidence allied with the concentrational powers of road kill. Building this web site is an attempt to prove that I might be able achieve or finish something — but I have my doubts …
